The Stoneware Gallery has been an artist-run gallery since 1978. It began in its present location at 778 Corydon Ave. in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and currently has thirteen members which include two of the original members. They are Valerie Metcalfe and Marusia Foster. Many of the other members have been with the gallery for more than twenty years, and all of its members have been working in clay for at least that long.
The work shown here by each artist is an example of the range of work each person makes. Some, but not all of it, is currently available.
