Marusia Foster was one of the original members of both the Stoneware Gallery and the Stoneware Studio. Though she stopped being a full time potter and partner of the gallery many years ago, she continued as a partner in the studio, one of five, and is now fully retiring at the end of January. This week she taught her last class on Monday night, the class she has taught for 47 years. Several of her students have been in her class for decades. Here the class is celebrating this special milestone! We will all miss certainly miss her, but wish her a very well deserved happy retirement! (She’s the one in the turquoise top).
